Students will practice reading sight words from Fry's First 100 Words list.
I have a Master of Education degree in Elementary Education and taught in primary (1st-3rd grade) classrooms for six years. I have an ESL endorsement and have more than four years of experience teaching online classes for kids.
- Two sight word BINGO cards (the teacher will send via Outschool message the night before class for families to print) - Movable BINGO tokens of your choice (candy corn, cereal, Legos, mini erasers, etc.) - Halloween item to share with the class (optional)
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
Students are welcome to wear a costume and/or wear a mask. However, masks should be removed for identification during the first five minutes or so of class to meet safety and privacy policies. The teacher will vet costumes to ensure they meet Outschool standards (secular, age-appropriate, etc.).
