Description
Class Experience
The goal will be for your child to actively participate in the group and increase their regulation, as shown by improved attention, activity level, and behavior. I would like them to leave with at least one new activity that helps their body feel good and relaxed... And MOST importantly, I hope they have a lot of fun!
I am a certified, licensed occupational therapist. I have more than 20 years of experience working with children and individuals with special needs. I am a Sensory Integration certified therapist (SIPT certified), a DIRFloortime provider, a handwriting specialist, and a parent coach.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
40 minutes per week in class, and no time outside of class.
All of our Sensory-Motor activities will be simple and safe, and generally should not require assistance from parents.
