US Grade Preschool - Kindergarten
In this class, each meeting will focus on a different Halloween STEAM activity. Each class will open with a show and tell of Halloween objects that relate to our daily theme. Students are encouraged to wear their Halloween costumes during the last meeting. Then, we will jump right into the fun activities. Each day has its own theme: Day 1: “Spooky Skeletons” We will discuss the major bones of the body and then complete a q-tip skeleton craft. We will even do a fun spooky skeleton dance...
Students will examine some traditional Halloween icons using science, technology, engineering, and math.
A handout will be provided prior to each meeting. Other required materials are q-tips, paper, a latex balloon, empty plastic bottle (up to 1 liter), glue, tape, a straw, baking soda, and vinegar
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
Parental guidance is recommended during the experiments using household supplies including vinegar and scissors.
