Class Experience

US Grade Preschool - Kindergarten
In this class, each meeting will focus on a different Halloween STEAM activity. Each class will open with a show and tell of Halloween objects that relate to our daily theme. Students are encouraged to wear their Halloween costumes during the last meeting. Then, we will jump right into the fun activities. Each day has its own theme:

Day 1: “Spooky Skeletons”
We will discuss the major bones of the body and then complete a q-tip skeleton craft.  We will even do a fun spooky skeleton dance together! {Science, Art, Math (counting, measurement)}

Day 2: “Baffling Bats”
After learning all about what makes bats so unique, students will build and test a bat straw rocket! Students will also practice their math skills with a bat-themed worksheet. {Art, Engineering, Science}

Day 3: “Freaky Frankenstein”
We will begin with a Halloween costume show and tell. Then, we will use vinegar and baking soda to blow up a monster balloon! {Science, Math (measurement)}
