Description
Class Experience
Students will have fun while learning to make new and creative foods for Halloween. Each week will involve some different cooking skills including baking, boiling, melting chocolate, using a blender, crushing ice cubes, and decorating.
Students will need to have ingredients that are listed to make our drinks and snacks. There will at times be some preparation of things ahead, like already frozen blue ice cubes, and pre-baked cupcakes.
This is an informal assessment based on the student following directions and completing the food items.
1 hour 10 minutes per week in class, and no time outside of class.
The student may need help in the kitchen specifically with baking things like Rattlesnake bites (baking pizza-type dough), and cooking on the stove occasionally.
