Welcome to my classroom! In this one time class, learners will have the opportunity to dress up in Halloween costumes (nothing gory or violent, please), participate in a variety of activities and games, and share a favorite Halloween object. Class will begin with greetings and introductions. Each learner will have the opportunity to share their name, age, and what Halloween costume they are wearing. After that, we will watch a short music video and sing along to the song "Five Little...
Learners can come to class wearing a Halloween costume. Learners can also bring a Halloween related item to share during class.
25 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
Because there is a small dancing activity at the end of class, it is important that learners take class in a flat, open space. They should also wear either closed toe tennis shoes or no shoes. This will ensure that they have a safe time participating in the game Musical Statues. If you feel like this activity will tire your child, I encourage them to bring a water bottle to set off to the side (no where near where they will be dancing) of the classroom.
