Materials needed for class: 

play dough (If you can get orange, black, white and green that would be great. You can improvise if you don't have those colors.)

butter knife or play dough knife

play dough rolling pin or a thick marker to use as a "roller"

9 toothpicks or small twigs or straw pieces the length of toothpicks

marble or bead the size of a marble

cookie sheet, classroom tray or breakfast tray with a lip so the marble doesn't roll off the sides. 

Parental guidance is required for the use of a butter knife.  Play-doh may contain wheat, which could cause an allergic reaction if ingested in those sensitive to wheat gluten or with Celiac disease.
