US Grade 1 - 4
Join us for a deliciously educational Halloween adventure! In our class, young learners will dive into the sweet world of math by exploring data collection, sorting, and graphing—all through the lens of everyone's favorite Halloween treats: candy! This hands-on, interactive class blends fun with fundamental math skills, making it a perfect way for your child to embrace math concepts while celebrating the season.

What to Expect:

In this engaging virtual class, your child will:

- 🍭 Candy Sorting: We'll start by sorting a variety of Halloween candies into different categories. From chocolates to gummies and hard candies, students will learn how to categorize and organize data effectively.

- 📊 Data Collection: After sorting, we'll dive into data collection. Your child will count and record the number of candies in each category, helping them grasp the basics of collecting and organizing information.

- 📈 Graph Creation: Next, we'll introduce the concept of graphing. Students will create their very own bar graphs using the candy data, translating the information into visual representations that are both fun and informative.

- 👩‍🏫 Interactive Learning: Through interactive asynchronous discussions, your child will share their graphs with classmates, fostering critical thinking and problem-solving skills. They'll also have opportunities to ask questions and engage in exciting math-related conversations.
