This is a Halloween themed class. Learners should be in a position to review addition, subtraction, multiplication, & geometry. We will use logic and reasoning to solve puzzles that are based on Halloween themes. Classes differ so that a class could be taken more than one time without repeating the puzzles that are completed. Some classes will use more of the above skills than others. This is an excellent class for learners that need a challenge or that enjoy making the review of math and logic skills fun. Learners can solve puzzles by talking out strategies for solving them and listening to others in the class and their strategies. There is always more than one way to find the correct answer to a problem. Understanding that different people solve puzzles in different ways might open up thinking that the learner would not have otherwise considered. Sometimes one might even find that there is a better way than they currently use.

To develop critical thinking and logic skills. To share strategies with others and listen to strategies that they may not have previously considered.
