Halloween, Hip-Hop, Ghostbusters Themed Dance Class
This beginners upbeat dance class will introduce basic movements of hip-hop. We will warm-up and stretch our bodies and learn a fun upbeat routine by the end of class. During class we will also make a sensory "SLIME" bag! Feel free to dress up!

During this class we start off with a warm-up and stretch our bodies for about 7 minutes. We will then learn choreography to an upbeat dance routine. (25 -30 minutes) Bring a ghost catcher gun to dance with during our routine. During class we will have a couple breaks and at the end of class and we will also do an activity for about 5-10 minutes! We will be making a “Slime” sensory bag. If you do not want to make the craft you can just play with slime or color. This class is a lot of fun and we will be catching ghosts throughout class! *The duration of the warm-up and choreography time may vary do to student participation. Length of routine may vary depending on ability of majority to pick up choreography. *All music is age appropriate and goes with our theme. *All choreography is my creation. *Great option for those that homeschool looking for arts or P.E. option or looking for extracurricular activity for after school or weekends! <a href="https://www.freepik.com/free-photos-vectors/party">Party vector created by freepik - www.freepik.com</a>
Learning Goals
Your child will learn basic movements of hip hop and movement. This song is upbeat and fun. The goal of this class is to get the student excited about dance, move around and exercise, learn something new and learn a full routine by the end of the class!
Other Details
Parental Guidance
Make sure your child is taking class in a safe space in a clear area where they can extend their arms out side to side and front and back. Also, make sure your child has water nearby and wears comfortable clothing. (Dance at your own risk.)
Supply List
We will be making "SLIME" sensory bags at the end of class! Parents should be nearby to help their child if needed! You will need: plastic ziploc bag, Hair gel or paint. (A couple squirts is all you need of gel or paint.) You can add food coloring, glitter, or any other small, flat items to add to your slime! (This is meant to keep in the bag and not take out! It’s a clean way to play with “Slime”.) If your child does not want to make the sensory bag they can either choose to play with their own slime, color, or catch any ghosts flying around! *Bring a ghost catcher gun for our routine!
