Halloween Dessert Decorating! Ages 4-7

In this one time course students will have the opportunity to decorate their favorite treats and turn them into SPOOKY Halloween creatures!

Description

Class Experience

We will be decorating some of our favorite treats and turning them into SPOOKY creatures in honor of the SPOOKY season!
We will be making:
-Mummy Rice Krispies
-Spider Chocolate Chip Cookies
-Chocolate Covered Ghosts

Student is encouraged to come prepared with the answer to these three questions:
-What will you be for Halloween?
-What is something scary and something fun about Halloween? 
-What should Miss. Vee be for Halloween? 

Can't wait to meet your creative and Halloween loving...

To make Mummy Rice Krispies:
-Rice Krispie Treats 
-White and Chocolate Melted 

To make Strawberry Ghosts:
-Strawberries
-White and Chocolate Melted Chocolate

To make Spider Chocolate Chip Cookies:
-Chocolate Chip Cookies
-Melted Chocolate 

To make Witch Fingers:
-Long thick pretzel sticks 
-Sliced Almonds 
-Melted Chocolate
-Green Food Coloring
-Toothpick

Will need for all treats:
-Sandwich baggies (for piping and decorating details onto our treats)
-White and Chocolate Melted Chocolate
-Plates to place treats to dry
-Scissors to cut small hole in baggie
-Fork or Skewers

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.

20 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.

Students may need assistance throughout the class time. We will be using certain tools such as scissors that assistance will be required.
