Halloween Costume Party, Snack, and Craft Time

Let's celebrate Halloween with some fun! Children are invited to come dressed in their Halloween costume! We will begin by talking about our costumes and favorite Halloween/fall activities to do! I will then lead students through the steps to make a tasty Halloween-inspired snack and make a Halloween craft. Please see supply list below. Parent help with snack and craft would be helpful (especially for younger children). I believe students learn best in a warm and welcoming classroom...
Students will make a Halloween snack and craft. They will also have the opportunity to share their Halloween costume with the class.
I have been a classroom teacher for many years and love doing crafts and snacks with my own three children at home!
Class 1-pencil, 1 sheet of black construction paper, 1 sheet of red construction paper, 2 sheets of white construction paper, glue, 2-4 round crackers, 8-10 pretzel sticks, peanut butter or frosting, a handful of brown M & M's or black chocolate chips, butter knife (with parent's help) or something to spread the peanut butter/frosting Class 2-banana, handful of chocolate chips, butter knife (with parent's help) to cut banana as directed by teacher, white paper plate, roll of toilet paper, black construction paper, black marker, stapler (with parent's help) or glue/tape Class 3-apple slices, mini marshmallows, peanut butter or frosting, butter knife (with parent's help) or something to spread peanut butter/frosting, a plate and napkin, 1 full sheet of white construction paper, 1 sheet of black construction paper, 1 sheet each of: white, orange, and yellow tissue paper or construction paper, glue, pencil, black marker
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
Parent help with snack and craft as needed would be appreciated (especially if your child will be spreading peanut butter/frosting with a butter knife. If you child needs help cutting, parental support would be helpful as well.
