Class Experience

In this course, we will be learning American Sign Language signs related to Halloween.

We will learn words such as Halloween, trick-or-treat, costume, bat, cat, candy, etc.

I will do a combination of PPT and demonstration with the students repeating each sign. We will learn all of the signs first. We will then do games as time allows to help the students remember the signs.

I love to build a rapport with students. I have fun as we both focus on the material as well as adapt to their individual needs and personalities.

Students will be interacting with me and each other the entire time as we learn and review signs.

No prior knowledge is needed.

**Disclaimer**
Many signs in ASL differ across signers and regions. I used multiple resources to find signs that seemed to be the most common and/or seemed to match the word more visually.

I will be teaching some simple signs and phrases. We will not be doing full sentences or immersion in this class. While I have experience with ASL, I am not fluent, but I did take the time to research the signs prepared for this class.
