In this one time class, learners will draw a Halloween good witch step by step with me. Then we will use watercolor paints to create a bright and cheerful witch. Art freedom and fun will be emphasized in a relaxed setting. Lessons will be in a "work with me format" with visual and audio step-by-step instructions. I will show my finished work at the start of class as an example along with the supplies needed to create it. Students will be encouraged to add their creative personal touches to their work. I will encourage students to upload their finished work to the classroom after it dries to share with me and their art friends.

Learners will gain experience in drawing, painting with watercolors, and making decisions about their creative work.
Other Details
Parental Guidance
We will be using a cup of water with our watercolor paints. Please make sure all electronics are protected from water spills.
Use only non-toxic, child-safe watercolor paints.
Masks are welcome, however, masks should be removed for identification during the first four minutes of class to meet safety and privacy policies.
Please note that costumes will be vetted by the educator to ensure that they met Outschool standards (secular, age-appropriate, etc.). Thank you!
Supply List
Non-toxic, child-safe watercolor paint set. Paint brushes - Small round brush will be helpful for details. Cup of water. White watercolor paper or mixed media paper. Copy paper will not be thick enough to hold up to the water. Pencil. Paper towel.

Hello art friends! I'm Ms. Michelle. I'm offering directional and expressive art projects for young learners. I'm a professional artist with my education in Fine Art. I believe whole heartedly in the Montessori philosophy. I owned Montessori schools for years and I've taught art to thousands of preschool and elementary students in person and online.
Art has always been my happy place where I can be myself, share experiences, and enjoy friends. My art classes will help students practice fine motor skills, follow oral and visual instructions, improve art skills, and express themselves through creativity and social classes.

If there’s another time for the class, I’ll offer a transfer. If there’s a schedule conflict, please msg me for a transfer before class. No refunds for late arrivals. I appreciate your consideration.
