This class is appropriate for artists of all skill levels. We will begin with a warmup exercise by drawing simple Halloween inspired kawaii characters and eyes. I'll show you how to draw several cute chibis characters that I have made specifically for this class. We will construct them from simple shapes and refine them with details. After a brief discussion of successful character design, line weight, and inking technique, we'll create our own unique characters using references and our...
The drawings will be cute and not frightening at all.
1 file available upon enrollmentpaper ,pencils, eraser, markers or other coloring tool, a pen for outlining. Micron liner pens would be great but any ballpoint pen will do.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
1 hour 15 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
