How many eyes do most spiders have? What doe a pumpkin spider look like? What does a spider use to create its web? In this one-time, 25-minute class, students will be guided to draw a spider. Students will be able to follow along with the teacher's step-by-step live instructions. As we draw, we will discuss the names of the spider’s body parts and learn interesting spider facts! Students can replicate the teacher's drawing or add their own unique elements, with some ideas discussed in class. As time allows, students will begin coloring in their drawing, with the medium of their choice, such as crayons or colored pencils. The teacher will be using colored pencils. At the end of class, students will have the opportunity to share their creation with the class.
