Halloween and Fall Themed Writing-4 Days and 4 Genres! (Certified Teacher)
This four-day class offers guided instruction for writing a narrative, opinion, persuasive and informative writing piece. One genre will be taught each class and we will use Halloween and Fall topics to make a writing plan for each genre.

Description
Class Experience
-Students will know the criteria for each genre -Students will see how author's use exemplary writing to write each genre -Students will become familiar with the structure of each genre based on guided writing and organizers -Students will construct their own writing plan for each genre using organizers
-17 years of certified teaching guided writing lessons in grades 2-6th grade
Since students may not complete their writing piece after our 40 minute class, they may complete their writing independently and show me at the next class.
*Printed copy of the organizer that I will post into the classroom prior to class. Students will use this to complete their own writing plan. *pencil :o)
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
40 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
