Class experience
In this class learners will create their own unique witch hat fascinator. You can create a traditional witch hat or theme your hat any way you want! Add flowers, sparkles, ribbons, feathers or any other fun decorations! The skills we will learn in this class will be; cutting out a pattern, cutting out fabric, sewing a simple whip stitch, making felt flowers and safely using a hot glue gun! 1 file available upon enrollmentPrint out of pattern (will be provided digitally) Mini hot glue gun and extra hot glue sticks (can be found at your local craft store for between $3-$25) a simple one works just fine! Scissors At least 2 matching felt squares (9''x12'') I recommend several in a few favorite colors incase of cutting mistakes, to make decorations and for if you want to make more later! (Around 50 cents each) Any decorations you would like (more felt, ribbon, jewels, beads, flowers, buttons, feathers) Either a headband, blank hairclip or comb to attach your hat to. Hand sewing needle Matching thread Recommended: Heat resistant gloves
In this class, we will be using scissors and a hot glue gun. Both of these items can be dangerous if used improperly. Please remind your learner to follow safety rules and I highly recommend heat resistant gloves (available on amazon for just a few dollars) especially for younger learners
