In my upcoming 45-minute online class, "The Art of Haiku Poetry," students will delve into the captivating world of Haiku. The course is structured to provide an immersive experience, starting with an insightful lecture on the origin of Haiku. We'll explore its unique structure, the art of syllable recognition, and the nuances of wordplay. Our teaching approach is centered around active learning, where students will not only listen but actively participate in discussions. The class will be enriched with beautiful examples of Haiku and engaging slides to enhance the learning experience. A significant focus of the class is on interaction and creativity. Students will have the opportunity to create their own Haikus, engage with each other through an online messaging platform, and share their creations with the group.
