Class Experience
Do you have a big interview coming up? Maybe for a job or a college admissions? Or, do you want to learn how to interview someone else? Maybe you dream of one day being an anthropologist or a journalist? This is the class for you! In this 4 week class I will teach you everything you need to know about interviewing. How to draft an interview, how to be interviewed, how to give an interview with confidence, and how to be interviewed with confidence.
I have a masters degree in applied linguistics and research methodology, during the completion of that degree I learned how to interview.
There will be one homework assignment, to draft a mock interview. The homework will be done over a two week period and should not take longer than an hour in total.
Students will receive feedback and informal assessment of their interview.
45 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
