¡Hablemos! Class meant for those who want/require an immersion space. Practice face to face with native Mexican teacher in a one hour class, while gaining fluency and vocabulary. Conversation fully in Spanish. At least B1 level suggested.

2-4 hours per week. Assignments will mostly be researching topics outside of class. Topics related to conversation themes and games for the next class. Feedback will be given and learners are expected to dedicate time outside of the meetings to study and improve.Assessment

Intermediate - Advanced Level
What will be taught? - Conversation skills and practice by engaging in interesting topics, role play games and more. What topics will covered? - In a didactic way topics will be learnt, such as; conversation skills, pronunciation, improv, acquisition of new vocabulary, asking and understanding directions and instructions, fluency and more. How are classes structured? - Each class will be guided towards and specific theme/topic. Learners will engage in conversation with the teacher by role playing possible scenarios, singing songs in Spanish, discussing relevant topics, and more. During role play there will be time to converse and also dedicated time to listen. This way different areas of the language are being practiced. How will I teach and what is my teaching style? - By providing structure and order thoughout class time and by offering guidance, correction, feedback and suggestions. It's important to make sure learners are staying on topic and receiving feedback while letting them speak freely. I like making a connection with my students and making sure I understand each individual's needs. This class is fully interactive and teacher is fully engaged with the learner at all times. At the end of each class, the learner will be given a topic or topics to research in their own time. This topic will be related to the next class. *Please don't hesitate to book a level placement class if you're not sure this is adequate for your learner(s)*

My lessons are built in a way to keep all students focused and entertained with games, role play, conversation topics and other activities. However there's no special methodology designed for specific learning needs.

Being born in Mexico and raised bilingual, I acquired key knowledge regarding ways of learning. I started teaching Spanish and English to indigenous communities in Mexico while in college and got certified to teach ELE/DELE (Spanish As A Second Language) in 2017. With more than 10 years of experience teaching different types of classes to people of different ages and at different levels.
