In this 8 week course, students will learn about habitats, read a Magic Tree House or Andrew Lost book that ties into the specific habitat of that week, build a Minecraft habitat, and share their build with others.
Class Experience
US Grade 2 - 5
We will cover the following habitats: Week 1: Ocean Week 2: Grassland Week 3: Desert Week 4: Mountain Week 5: Forest Week 6: Freshwater and Caves Week 7: Polar Week 8: Rainforest Each class will have a discussion regarding a different habitat. We will talk about the biomes and the animals that live in that particular environment via a lecture posted each week for each biome. The teacher will provide a list of books from the Magic Tree House series and/or Andrew Lost series for the student to...
Students will be able list off eight different habitats and their features. Students will also expand their creativity.
