In this on-going class, students will discover and explore a fascinating habitat each week. They will use Canva to create beautiful artwork to hang on the wall that includes the plants and animals that live in each unique environment.
Class experience
Discover, Explore, CREATE! Planet Earth is home to a great diversity of life. Pack your bags and join me each week as we discover a new location around the globe. We will explore a unique habitat that supports plants, animals, and other forms of life, discuss their relationships to each other, and talk about the importance of conservation to the specific location. At the end of class, you will create your very own HABITAT POSTER to hang on your wall highlighting the exceptional...
Students will study a new unique habitat each week. Students will gain confidence with various graphic design skills as they practice designing posters related to a new habitat each week.
--Computer --Free Canva account created: 1. Open your browser and go to www.canva.com 2. On the homepage on Canva, click on ‘Signup.’ The signup button is on the rightmost top corner of the page. 3. Type your name, email address, and choose a password. Then press on get started to create your free Canva account. You may have to check your email and confirm it for completing the creation process. Please set your learner up with a split screen prior to class so that they can see my presentation and screen on one side, and work on their own Canva project on the other side. Look in the classroom for directions if you need support.
