Description
Class Experience
I started gymnastics at a young age and took classes up until my high school years. I was in dance as well as I grew up which uses many of the same skills. I then began to teach gymnastics at my gym to a variety of ages and skill levels. I was on the Dance Team at my college which continued my use of my gymnastics skills. I have continued to assist children in gymnastics skills in an informal setting as I nanny and assist friends and family.
A large clear space will be needed for this class, preferably a softer surface if able. If students have any gymnastics mats, they are welcome to use them as well. I suggest bare feet, breathable & flexible clothing and a water bottle for this class.
35 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 1 - 2 hours per week outside of class.
Warning: Please be advised of potential hazards within this class as physical activity will be performed. Learners will need an open workout space, proper footwear, a water bottle and adequate stretching beforehand is suggested to prevent injuries. Hazards may occur if not properly supervised or safety protocol is not followed.
