What's included
1 live meeting
45 mins in-class hours per weekHomework
2-4 hours per week. Students will be encouraged to practice outside of class, always with supervision.Class Experience
This semi-private gymnastics lesson will be open to two students per week, and we will work toward those students' specific gymnastics-related goals. This could include rolls, handstands, cartwheels, walkovers, handsprings, flips, general strengthening and flexibility, trampoline, or anything else gymnastics related. Class will always start with a short warm-up and stretch, during which we will discuss the students' goals and how the day's lesson will be structured. Gymnasts will then be given a series of stretches, drills, strengthening exercises, and skills to practice. Semi-private instruction gives the benefit of significant individual time and attention, while allowing for social interaction and needed breaks. While one student is doing "reps," I will coach the other student on their technique. Every few minutes, I will switch my attention from one athlete to the other.
Learning Goals
Students will learn strength, stretching, drills, and improve their gymnastics technique.
