Class Experience

Students will learn beginner gymnastics vocabulary, skills, drills, stretches, and body weight exercises. 
In addition to being a former competitive gymnast, I have coached gymnastics at the recreational and competitive level for 19 years. I have taught thousands of children the fundamentals of the sport, and written curriculum for gymnastics, trampoline, tumbling, parkour, agility, and yoga. My Safesport certification was most recently renewed in 2017.

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
No live meetings, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
As in any sport or physical activity, gymnastics carries a risk of injury. Minimize this risk by providing an open space, comfortable, athletic clothing, and adult supervision.
