In this one time class, gymnastics students will learn and practice drills to help them get their bridge kickover.
Class experience
Bridge kickovers are an important skill in gymnastics. They require both flexibility and strength. They also require confidence! In this one time class, we will do different drills to help the student achieve a bridge kickover. I have been dancing for most of my life. I teach dance, gymnastics, and cheerleading. I teach in-person classes at a dance studio in the DFW area of Texas. I also owned my own studio for two years in Grand Prairie, Texas. It was called Dance With Jenny!
*Open space *Item to use as an elevated surface- folded gymnastics panel mat is strongly recommended but a couch can also be used (provided the flooring is soft underneath it) *Workout clothes or leotard *Please go barefoot
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
An adult caregiver should supervise students as they take this class and ensure that they adhere to the correct flooring requirement, spacing requirement, and clothing requirement. Gymnastics is a physical art form and injuries can occur if children are not focused and not practicing in the right setting or clothing. It is imperative that students go barefoot- socks are easy to slip in.
