It's just what you've been waiting for!! Share your LOVE FOR and PASSION FOR GYMNASTICS!! And READ an awesome book series called Perfect Balance Gymnastics by Melisa Torres. These books are generally suitable for readers ages 7 to 11. The books get a bit more meat to them as the series progresses. With books easily accessible through Amazon.com, Amazon.ca as well as the author's website (https://www.melisatorres.com/store/c2/Gymnastics_Books.html ) where you can buy sets of books at a discount, learners will read a set of chapters each week, noting their favorite part, the skills talked about in the section, life skills the characters are learning (trust, grit, determination, tenacity, patience), and noting connections they made relating to the characters and events in the story (almost giving up, moving to a new city, dealing with siblings, not getting what you desperately want when you want it, reaching your goals, celebrating success). There will be time set aside each class for sharing, time for making new friends, and talking all about your favorite gymnasts too! **Please request preferred dates and times if you don't see something that works for your learner's schedule or time zone. :) Each class will end with a fun gymnastics trivia game! While I've never been a gymnast, my 12 year old daughter is a level six competitive gymnast, who started gymnastics when she was 5 years old. As a gym mom, I have learned a lot about the sport. My son is also a former trampoline/double mini trampoline competitive athlete.
