Using discussion, visual presentation, and a timeline. Students will learn an overview of the French Revolution beginning with the causes, storming of the Bastille, Reign of Terror, to Napoleon's Empire in European History & World History.

Class experience

1. Draw a timeline of the French Revolution. 
2. Name the key people involved in leading the revolution. 
3. Recognize the causes and key events of the revolution: Storming of the Bastille, Reign of Terror, and Napoleon’s Coup d’État. 
4. Explain how Napoleon ended the revolution. 
I have taught World History for over 15 years. I have traveled to France,  walked the halls of Versailles, toured Marie Antoinette’s private hamlet, and been Inside the prison where the royals were held as they awaited trial, as well as visiting Napoleon’s tomb in Paris. The French Revolution is a favorite topic of mine.
