Class Experience
In this intermediate guitar class, students who have already taken a beginner guitar course and are familiar with basic guitar playing will delve deeper into their skills. The class structure is as follows: Review of basic guitar skills: Brief recap of beginner guitar techniques and fundamentals. Learning chords: Step-by-step guidance to play the G, C, D, and E minor chords. Mastering chord transitions: Tips and exercises to help students switch smoothly between the chords, with a special...
Learn and practice the G, C, D, and E minor chords on the guitar. Master smooth transitions between the chords, focusing on the challenges of switching to and from the D chord. Discover and play the chord progressions of a few simple songs.
No homework, but after this class hopefully you will want to try to learn some. more songs.
Assessment is informal.
45 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
