Guitar Private Lesson //Acoustic or Electric//Songwriting// All Ages

This is a private lesson that can be booked by a student at any skill level. The student can be brand new or advanced. The student can join this session with an acoustic or an electric guitar. Be sure that the student has access to amplification if using an electric guitar during the session. The student/parent can inform the teacher of any songs or areas of focus for the session. 

Some possible areas of focus during the private session are:
- Guitar basics
- Open chords
- Barre chords
- Rhythm and strumming patterns
- Fingerpicking techniques and patterns
- Music theory basics
- Scales and lead guitar 
- Percussive guitar techniques
- Dynamics / How to make a good performance
- Learn and practice a particular song that the student wants to learn or a song that matches the student's skill level
- How to play and sing, while maintaining rhythm
- How to "jam" on the guitar with other musicians
- Songwriting skills and techniques
