Class Experience

Welcome to Guitar Mastery Level 3. This curriculum is built on my 20+ years of guitar teaching experience. It not only creates great guitar players, but great musicians as well.

Our primary goal is to be able to read all available notes in the first position on the guitar. We learn how to read on all six strings over the course of these eight weeks. We will also start to play our first guitar chords, which sound great as long as you are in tune! We will cover great melodies and as promised, our first guitar scales. By the end of this course, we will be at the tail end of the Guitar Method 1 book. I can't wait to jam with you!

Learning Goals

4, 5 and 6 string guitar chords

A 2 octave G Major scale and a C Major scale

Syllabus

8 Lessons

over 8 Weeks

Lesson 1:

C, G, and G7 Chords

 We cover our first  basic 4 string chords

30 mins online live lesson

Lesson 2:

Rock Workshop 101

 Flamenco Duet with our 3 "flamenco chords"

30 mins online live lesson

Lesson 3:

Notes on the 5th String

 We get lower with the notes "A, B, and C"

30 mins online live lesson

Lesson 4:

C, A minor, and D Minor chords

 Full 5 string chords and "Battle of Aughrim"

30 mins online live lesson

Guitar Mastery Level 1 and 2 are recommended before enrolling.
