Beginner Level
Looking to learn new musical skills? Students will first learn the basics of the guitar including all of its working parts! Next, they will gradually build their knowledge and skills, working their way up to playing simple songs with notes. After this, they will play songs with chords in them. This class is ADHD, ASD, and dyslexia friendly. It is taught by a certified teacher who has been playing guitar for 18 years, originally taught by a professional guitarist.
Learning Goals
Students will learn the basics of guitar and how to play simple notes and chords on the guitar. They will use these skills to play songs.

Introduction
Meet the teacher, learn the parts of the guitar and the string names. Discuss favourite songs that we could potentially learn how to play! 45 mins online live lesson
Lesson 2:
Review & Learn How to Use a Tuner
Review the parts of the guitar and the string names.
Learn the basics of how to tune a guitar! 45 mins online live lesson
Lesson 3:
String Picking
Review previous lessons and practice tuning the guitar, then learn about picking on a guitar while playing a few notes. 45 mins online live lesson
Lesson 4:
Learn a Basic Song
We will do some review and learn how to play a basic song that involves playing notes on the guitar. 45 mins online live lesson

Learning Needs
As a certified educator, all classes I teach aim to be inclusive and accessible to all learners. I have extensive training and experience in working with students who have unique learning needs like dyslexia, ADHD, and ASD.

Must have a guitar, guitar pick, and a guitar tuner or access to an online tuner website.
