In this class, students will learn all about guinea pig care. I also offer a guinea pig class for younger students ages 5 - 7 (search my profile page for Guinea Pigs for Ages 5 - 7)  and one for students ages 12 - 15 (search my profile page for Guinea Pigs 101 Ages 12 - 15). This class is for 8 - 11 year olds. 

No guinea pig pet is required for this class. However, if you do have a guinea pig, bring them to class! I'd love to meet your pet. 

Having a guinea pig is a lot of responsibility! You will learn how to make sure you have a happy guinea pig. 

We will go over basic care:
Space
Toys
Food
Keeping the piggie clean and groomed
Holding piggies 
Bathing
And more! 

Come to class with questions! Students will be given plenty of time for questions and answers. 

Students will see how much care is required for having a guinea pig as a pet so they can make a good decision with their mom and dad if a guinea pig is right for their family.
