Guided Writing Using Minecraft Ideas 3 Day Camp

In this short course, the student will learn to write sentences using their favorite ideas from the game Minecraft. During class we will be brainstorming ideas that we come up with together. After we write down everyone's ideas on our paper, we will create sentences to form a paragraph. The following is a schedule of the skills that will be covered in each class:
Day one: Narrative sentences. We will use Minecraft ideas to create and write a story.  
Day two: Opinion sentences. We will write about our favorite details from Minecraft.
Day three: Explanatory sentences. We will use Minecraft ideas to explain and write different details from the game. 
The student will be engaged though open discussion throughout class. The student will need to be able to write letters independently in order to be successful in this class. This is a basic-style writing class to introduce the student to the different forms of writing they can use. I strive to provide a positive and encouraging environment to allow for the student to gain confidence in their writing skills. I guide them to write as well as writing along with them to show them the writing process of sentences.
