Guided Writing Minecraft Narrative, Opinion and Explanatory Sentences Ongoing

In this ongoing class, the student will practice and learn to write sentences using their favorite ideas from the game Minecraft. During class we will be brainstorming our ideas of what we can write about while focusing on the skill for the class. After we write down everyone's ideas, we will create sentences to form a paragraph. We will rotate writing skills each week by either focusing on opinion, explanatory, or narrative writing. So the student may enter anytime. The student will be engaged through open discussion throughout class with each other. The student will need to be able to write or sound out words independently in order to be successful in this class. This is a basic-style writing class to help the student practice different forms of writing. I am here to guide them in their writing, help them with their spelling and grammar and to model writing along with them when needed. I strive to provide a positive and encouraging environment to allow for the student to gain confidence in their writing skills. If you have any questions or concerns please email me anytime.
