GUIDED WRITING BASICS is a Content Rich class for parents who want their children to learn how to develop simple strategies using four text genres. What actually makes a writer good? What makes writing good? What actually makes a writer good is knowing how to develop their texts. This is done through learning the techniques, strategies, and devices that great writers use. You have come to the right class because this is exactly what I will teach. Students should walk away with numerous strategies that they can use to construct and develop the four genres of texts for years to come. Learning Goals
Students will learn how to construct three-paragraph writing responses. They will be required to incorporate literary elements, and devices into their text to enhance the quality of their writing.
