Students will learn how to construct three-paragraph writing responses. They will be required to incorporate literary elements, and devices into their text to enhance the quality of their writing.
I have had more than 20 years of classroom and tutorial experience teaching Writing Skills to various age groups. I have extensive coursework and professional development training in the academic area of Writing. I have taught writing skills and strategies with English Language Arts Courses and with the READ 180 program which contains a writing component.
Homework Offered
Students may complete any unfinished work at home. It is highly suggested that students review each lesson daily and document notes about the strategies for further reference. This will greatly help them to retain the information more.Assessments Offered
Only verbal critiques will be given to improve the quality of a child's writing.Grades Offered
Students should have a writing utensil and paper each day.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
