Guided Test Prep is designed to assist students in reviewing pertinent reading skills that are found on state standardized yearly tests and to specifically increase their scores. During this eight-week course, students will be fully immersed and engaged in completing aligned and specific exercises that will be helpful in passing the reading portion of a standardized test. The course is driven by REVIEWING standard reading skills and strategies found on current reading assessments for elementary and middle school students and will be delivered by using a Power Point Presentation. Additionally, students will use a Texas STAAR Practice workbook which will provide the necessary exemplars for student practice.
