This class is an opportunity for students to read an intriguing piece of literature and then respond by generating a discussion pertaining to the text.

I enjoy reading and sharing great literature with our youth. I have chosen some rich examples of literature that your children are bound to love. These great literary classics will capture the attention of students from the very beginning of the text. In this class, we will read one or more short stories based on the schedule below. I have had more than 20 years of classroom and tutorial experience teaching Writing Skills to various age groups. I have extensive coursework and professional development training in the academic area of Writing. I have taught writing skills and strategies with English Language Arts Courses and with the READ 180 program which contains a writing component.
