Class Experience

US Grade 3 - 6
I enjoy reading and sharing great literature with our youth. I have chosen some rich examples of literature that your children are bound to love. These great literary classics will capture the attention of students from the very beginning of the text. In this class, we will read one or more short stories based on the schedule below. Please read carefully to determine which book to purchase.

Following each reading, students will be presented with discussion questions that relate to the pages read during each session. Students will be allowed to openly express their reactions to the books based on related discussion questions that will address plot development by examining characterization, irony, conflict, solution, and prediction skills. So, feel free to invite your friends to share an afternoon of good literature with you today! Don't forget your milk & cookies. This is a time for fun and relaxation.
