Class Experience

It is recommended that students practice what was taught in class. I will assign a sight word worksheet for the week for homework. I will also send a copy of the book we will read for students to practice before the second meeting of the week.
Please have a white board and dry-erase marker and a journal/notebook ready for class. A paper copy of the text we read will be shared after the first class meeting, for your child to use and practice before the second class.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
I will send a parent message once per week indicating your child's "Grows & Glows." Grows are things your child may need more support in or to work on at home and Glows are things your child consistently shows accuracy in.
45 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 1 - 2 hours per week outside of class.
Body Movement/Brain Break will be very minimal. Standing space behind a chair should be plenty of space for your learner.
