Description

Class Experience

In this guided drawing/painting class, students will create a landscape painting inspired by Van Gogh's " Farmhouse in a Wheat Field". I teach through: tell, show, do, feedback (a method I learned in my time with Starbucks, a long time ago) I find that students learn in a variety of ways (hearing, seeing and doing). I have my Bachelor's degree in Fine Art from FGCU and was an art teacher for four years. I love teaching drawing, painting and sculpture to learners of all ages.

8" x 10" canvas, canvas board or watercolor paper (thinner papers do not hold up well with paint, though a mixed media thicker paper will work). (For the budding/active artist 10-24 pks online range from $12-$30) Walmart in store 6pk: $5 Royal and Langnickel brand

acrylic paints: Red, Yellow, Blue, Brown and White are a must have (we can mix colors) acrylic paint sets online range from $10-$50 depending on your budget and artist.

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.

1 hour per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
