Class Experience

US Grade 2 - 3
🌟Is your learner in need of a boost in mental math skills and math fluency? This ongoing course empowers students to dive into 1- and 2-digit mental math problems, covering addition and subtraction. Students will also be introduced to multiplication through addition.

🤔 Have you been dealing with:

❓Concerns about your child's ability to solve math problems efficiently?
❓Frustration over your child's lack of confidence in math?
❓Worrying about your child falling behind in math compared to peers?
❗️Then, this course is here to help.

Students will focus on finding the right answer and growing their critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.

Each math problem presented will unveil multiple solution pathways, encouraging students to think creatively and reason abstractly.

Through discussions, modeling, and collaborative activities, students will develop a deeper understanding of mathematical concepts while building confidence in their abilities.

C L A S S B R E A K D O W N :

In each session, students will tackle two to four problems for each operation: addition, subtraction, and repeated addition. The focus is on mental math, though students can write down their thoughts if needed.

Here’s how we approach each problem:
1️⃣Independent Problem Solving—To foster self-reliance, students will have time to solve the problem mentally on their own (with help if needed).

2️⃣Interactive Sharing - We share our answers and discuss strategies collaboratively.

3️⃣Strategy Discussion - We explore various mental math strategies and discuss which are more efficient.
