In this guided drawing and painting class, students will create a fun painting of a shark and another sea creature . I teach through: tell, show, do, feedback (a method I learned in my time with Starbucks, a long time ago) I find that students learn in a variety of ways (hearing, seeing and doing). This practice allows every student to learn in their own unique way. I will teach the steps to creating a fun painting of a shark and another sea creature (I will get feedback from students before drawing to decide on shark species and the other animal) from start to finish on paper using watercolor pencils. Feedback is essential to artists ( and learners!), I love doing gallery walks where students can share their artwork and get praise and critiques from their peers (what they did well, what they can improve on etc). No experience is needed, come join us in a fun drawing and painting exercise.
