Description

Class Experience

This class is perfect for learners that are preparing for the ACT and want some additional practice on the Math section.  The class is kept small with a maximum enrollment of 4 learners.  We will work through questions from a practice ACT exam.  Learners will first be given a chance to solve the problem on his/her own.  If the learner struggles, we will walk through the problem step by step so the learner can see how to solve it and get tips and suggestions for the type of question.

Learners...

Students will improve their understanding of the types of questions on the ACT, as well as gain the background knowledge and strategies required to solve them correctly.

Calculator (preferably the one that will be used on the test day), pencil, scrap paper

45 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.

We will use a practice ACT exam, which will be sent as a pdf upon registration.
