Guess That Landmark in China! Fun Learning Game!

In this class students will be given clues about landmarks in China and they will try to guess what each one is before the other players! Students are encouraged to discuss their favorite landmarks with their peers.

Description

Class Experience

In this class learners will be given several clues about landmarks from China and try to guess what each one is before the other players.
The first clues about the landmark will be description only. Next, the learners will look at a zoomed in picture of part of the landmark to try to guess what it is in order to test their critical thinking skills. Then, the learners will be shown the entire picture of the landmark for another possible guess. Finally, the learners will learn some fun facts...

Learning Goals:
Learners will be able to identify landmarks from China.
Learners will increase their historic knowledge about China.
Learners will use critical thinking skills.
Learners will socialize with peers in order to increase communication skills and speaking skills.

I have been teaching K-12 online for 5 years. I am an extensive traveler and have been around the world! 
Some of my favorite trips include China, Jamaica, The Bahamas, and Mexico!

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.

25 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
