Students will learn all about tigers, what they look like, their habits, where they are located, and many other fun facts about these magnificent animals. They will also learn why tigers are a favorite animal among many people. Students will view a slideshow that includes pictures and interesting facts about tigers. They will also watch a short video with more helpful information about tigers. Toward the end of the lesson, students will learn how to draw a tiger. There will be ample discussion time for each learner's individual knowledge and opinions about tigers. The main goal of this lesson is to teach students about these incredible animals and that all wild animals serve a purpose in our world. Students will also learn about why tigers are endangered and why we should protect them.

Parental Guidance
There will be pictures and videos of lots of tigers and their habits in the wild. They may be shown eating or capturing their prey. They may also be shown fighting with or killing other animals.
Supply List
For the tiger drawing at the end of the lesson, learners will need paper, pencil, and crayons or markers.
External Resources
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
