Health and welness are important for kids, pre-teens and teen ages! This 4-week journal writing experience will build healthy and mindful habits. - Digital-Workplace Skillls will use Canva to journal. This is a very popular design website that is used throughout schools and companies world-wide.
- Growth Mindset: Students will learn how to set goals and make healthy choices.
- Goal Setting: Learners will focus on one or more goals to achieve in a specific time frame that is achieveable for their unique interests and abilities.
- Creative Expression: Learners can decorate and design their own journal based on their interests and ideas.
- Written Expression: Learners will practice expressive writing about themeselves.
I bring expertise to the virtual classroom with over 13 years of 6th-12th grade, and college-level writing instruction, both online and in person. My passion is to support learners in their writing through building confidence using a growth mindset perspective.

This class experience is designed for students who benefit from visual learning and can work at their own pace.
This course is created to be an interactive-online journal, BUT I have uploaded a printable version that learners can print and write in as well.
In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
We will use Google Classroom as a platform for this class. For learners under 13, parents please use or create a Gmail account for access. Learners will access Canva through our Google Classroom and will prompt learners to log in to Canva (free access). For learners under 13, parents please create a Canva account using a Gmail or e-mail account for access.
