Beginner Level
We will be teaching the basics of decoding. The focus will be on long and short vowel sounds, vowel-consanant-e words, digraphs, and tri-graphs. This class is meant for students who know all of their letter sounds and have begun decoding words. We will complete word studies and word mapping along with phonological awareness activities.
