Growing Minds: Introduction to Developmental Psychology is a fun, interactive psychology course for high school students that explores how people grow and change from birth through adulthood. Through creative projects, discussions, and real-life connections, students will learn key psychological theories and apply them to their own development. This class is perfect for teens interested in psychology, human behavior, education, or mental health careers.
Learning Goals
Understand how humans grow and change across different stages of life by exploring key concepts in physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development from infancy to late adulthood.
Apply major developmental psychology theories (like those of Piaget, Erikson, and Vygotsky) to real-life situations through interactive activities, discussions, and personal reflection.
