Class experience
US Grade Kindergarten - 3
This class will meet 3 times a week, ongoing, as needed. Communication between teacher and parent will determine the specific area of focus in the subject areas of Phonics, Reading, and Language Arts concepts. Individualized lessons will be created for specific areas of focus. Lessons will include direct instruction, guided practice, and games to reinforce concepts taught. Teaching the English language to foreign students has been a passion for me for 7 years, teaching how words and pronunciation coincide- comprehension, reading, phonemes and graphemes. Additionally, I have had many years of experience in teaching children in my Kindergarten, 1st, and second grade classes how to read.
