In this ongoing class, learners will meet for 45 minutes once a week to share gardening tips, tricks and find solutions to common garden problems.
Class experience
In this gardening club, learners will have the opportunity to meet regularly with other learners and share their interest in growing an edible garden. The teacher will facilitate a live discussion on the topics that arise throughout the season in an edible gardening environment. Each meeting will have a short introduction period, followed by a topic introduction (this will vary through the season, but will all be directly related to the garden), a class discussion, and a period for asking...
This is a social club with facilitated topical discussions. Learners will be able to discuss the details of their interests in edible gardening, and learn how to research and troubleshoot any problems that arise in the course of the gardening season.
No supplies required for this gardening club, but learners are highly encouraged to plant and grow a garden in whatever manner they are able, whether that is a large farm or a small pot of basil in the window
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
